Should Obama come up with a plan to recover OUR money?

He gave away trillions of taxpayer money to companies that should not have gotten it and they ended up going bankrupt.Shouldn’t he have a plan to recover that money?When asked about it he just says”oh well, I made a mistake”.He should be responsible for that mistake and recover our money, not come up with a plan to make us replace our own money because of his mistake.
